Mining and Resources

Resources are essential to evolving your ship in Starfall Alliance. Asteroid mining is one of the main ways to get materials.

Resource Types

The game has 5 main resource types:

Credits

The universal currency. Used to buy items at the station.

Scrap

Basic material from destroyed enemies and asteroids. Used for repairs and simple upgrades.

Scientific

Data and samples collected from planets and anomalies. Valuable for research and advanced upgrades.

Energy

Energy crystals. Can be converted into energy for the ship or sold.

Material

Rare alloys and compounds. Needed for hull and weapon upgrades.

Asteroid Mining

Asteroids drift through systems and can be mined:

1. Approach the asteroid
2. Shoot to damage it
3. When it’s destroyed, the resources are collected automatically

Asteroid Types

• Blue asteroids: rich in scientific resources
• Red asteroids: contain energy crystals
• Gray asteroids: standard material and scrap

Planetary Scan

Planets can also be scanned for resources:

1. Approach the planet
2. Use SCAN (button or E key)
3. Wait for the progress bar
4. Collect the reward

Each planet can only be scanned once per player.

Persistence

Every resource you collect is saved automatically. If you leave the game, your resources will be there when you come back.

Tips

• Blue asteroids are rare but worth a lot
• Some asteroids may be booby-trapped
• Mining during combat is risky but profitable
